Evita’s artwork was selected from hundreds of entries by the Dagenham and Rainham MP and her picture will go out to 2,500 people – including prime minister Theresa May.
Our very own Beam County Primary School pupil, Evita from Peacocks won a family tour of the London Stadium (new West Ham Stadium), a goody bag with gifts including chocolate, a teddy bear and a cinema voucher, along with a gift of her choice.
Mr Cruddas said: “Evita had up to £300 to spend on whatever she wanted and chose the latest portable games console, the Nintendo Switch; which I’m sure she’ll have lots of fun playing over Christmas!”
He added: “We had more schools, and more sponsors than ever this year, and I just want to express my thanks to all of the businesses, teachers, parents, and children that took part.”
Pupils from 22 schools across the constituency took part in the annual competition.
We are delighted to announce that we also shared a Beam winner and Beam runner-up. Ayaan from Reception, Tiger class was our Beam winner and Ariel from Reception, Foxes class was our runner-up. They both received goody bags and all children were invited out to the Civic Centre to enjoy a day with their families to celebrate.
