Egypt Day 2017

Year 4 had a great day learning all about Ancient Egypt with Portals from the Past.

We looked at some fantastic artefacts and discussed what they teach about about the Pharoahs. We also took part in the mummification and funeral preparations for our dearly departed King.

We had fantastic feedback from the group leader and we are incredibly proud of our pupils.

Look how much fun we had and how great our costumes are!

Back in class we have been learning about habitats and the creatures that live in them. We used classification keys to identify invertebrates in the environment, then had a visitor from the RSPB who taught us about what makes a good environment for small creatures, and how to identify habitats in our school.
