Cooking at the Fire Pit

Our Outdoor Learning week saw year 5 cook damper dough over the fire pit. It was an exciting lesson in which the children learnt about irreversible changes. We made plenty of dough and got to eat it with some very tasty jam.

WW2 - The Homefront Bus and Soup Making

This term, we had a visit from The Homefront Bus who came in to teach us all about the finer details of the war. The Homefront Bus was a great success and children enjoyed the simulation of an air raid. They also took part in a rationing workshop and were able to taste a range of WW2 sweets.
